LORAIN COUNTY KENNEL CLUB
The purpose of the club since inception has been to promote all-breeds of purebred dogs and to encourage good sportsmanship at events. No monies benefit any individual club member.
Dog events held during the year are in support of this purpose as well as related educational presentations at its meetings.
BEING PART OF THE COMMUNITY
The club has hosted dog events in Lorain County, Ohio since 1939.
MAINTAINING CONTINUITY
While locations have varied (The Coliseum in Lorain, Roll-Arena in Elyria, Melody Grove in Elyria, Lorain County Fairgrounds, Nimrod Club in Wellington, Oakwood Park in LaGrange, Avon High School, Lake Ridge Academy in North Ridgeville, Lion’s Community Park in LaGrange, Maple Grove Park in Belden and now its own site in Henrietta Township), the club has maintained its support of pure-bred dogs in Lorain County.
